Happy Easter Long Weekend!

Hey lovelies!

Happy Easter! I hope you all have enjoyed the break and ate tonnes of chocolate. I planned to spend my 4 day break watching 80's movies, eating a ridiculous amount of easter eggs, sleeping and maybe doing an english essay. Instead, I did all of the following: sleeping, going to the Easter Show, eating, lunch at a family friends, sailing on my grandfather's yacht, watching movies, lunch at my grandmother's and eating a ridiculous amount of easter eggs and bunnies!

It has been an intense few days and I have pretty much forgotten about the fact that I will be up at 6am tomorrow mornign for school. As you can guess, I am not looking forward to it in the least.

I had lunch today at my grandmother's and this is what I wore:

Dress: Valleygirl
Sandals: Portmans
Bag: Valleygirl
Necklace: CZ and yellow sapphire pendant from Gems Jewellery store in Thailand
Bracelets: usual ones I wear
Eye ring: Butler and Wilson
Kate Middleton-esque ring: Colette by Colette Hayman

During this Easter break, Em and I rented a tonne of movies and also made inspiration boards. I ended up printing out way too many photos for my cork board so I ended up putting the rest on my wardrobe.

We also rented all of these movies but so far have only watched The Breakfast Club and Ferris Bueller's Day Off which are both amazing movies that I have not seen in forever. I also watched Chicago last night at about midnight.

I have had a nice and relaxing long weekend full of chocolate and family. Easter is almost like Thanksgiving here in Australia, in the sense that you spend it with your family and all that family-oriented stuff.

Hope you all enjoyed the break!

Lots of love,

Phoebe x

Clinique chubby sticks

Hi my loves!

I was super excited to come home after an average, boring school day to find a lovely parcel from Clinique waiting for me. I was excited to find that it contained the items I'd ordered online just 2 days prior. They were my two new chubby sticks.

These are two free samples I received with order and now that I think about it, they may have been thrown out...

L-R: Woppin' Watermelon and Curvy Candy

Photo from my instagram

I have had my eyes on these for ages and finally decided to just go for it and buy them! I chose shade 06 Woppin' Watermelon and shade 14 Curvy Candy. I was led to believe that Woppin' Watermelon was darker than Curvy Candy by the website images, but Curvy Candy is actually the darker shade. This doesn't bother me at all, as they are both two separate shades and both gorgeous.

The best thing about these, besides the awesome names, are the fact that they don't feel like traditional lipsticks. They honestly feel more like gloss but the colour is definitely semi matte like a lipstick. They are also super easy to apply and you can control how much colour you want; apply a single coat for less and multiple coats for a more obvious colour.

My verdict? Love them! These are the most amazing lipsticks I'ver ever used and their resemblance to giant crayons is adorable. They are easy to use and the colours are wonderful!

You can check them out here and even purchase some if you like them!

I have been a huge fan of Clinique for ages, I have been using one of their foundations for years now and I love it, and these chubby sticks have made me fall even more in love with Clinique and their amazing beauty and skincare collections!

Hope you guys are well!

Kisses,

Leopard love + gold detailing

Hi my gorgeous readers!

So a while back it was my younger brother's birthday. He turned 13, meaning he is officially a teenager and I am growing old! I don't have a great recollection of it, but I visited him in the hospital on the day he was born. It honestly feels like it wasn't that long ago that Em and I were dressing him up in all our princess dresses, jewel necklaces and the whole lot because he was too young to protest! I say this so much, but time flies.

What I wore
Singlet: Zara
Skirt: Cotton On
Belt: Hermes
Necklace: Diva
Ring: Topshop
Sunglasses: "Chloe" sunglasses from Rubi Shoes
Nail polish: "Golden Eye" from O.P.I's Skyfall collection

These sunnies are amazing! I was so skeptical when I saw them, but my mum convinced me that they looked good on me and that I could pull them off. I like that they are so different; you can't tell from this picture but they are actually hexagon shaped frames! It's a super random sunglass frame shape but nevertheless awesome. I also like them because hexagon's have been my favourite shape for as long as I can remember.

I refer to this necklace, that I got for $6 by the way, as my Doritos necklace because the little triangles are textured and they look like little corn chips!

This ring is super quirky and different to traditional rings which adds to its appeal for me. I wear it loads and it is a lot more comfortable than it looks!

This nail polish is beyond fabulous! I absolutely adore sparkly nails. This gold was super glittery, super sparkly, super girly. I have had a sudden resurgence of love for sparkle and glitter nail polishes and have decided that I should where them more often while I'm still young.

This skirt is my perfect go-to skirt that goes with any look for any occasion. I have literally not taken it off since I bought it a few months back! The flared style is perfectly suited to my body shape as it accentuates my hourglass figure, adn hides my fat!

All my love and I hope you're all well!

Sooooo happy March! We are officially in the third month of the year! It is insane how fast it is flying by, next thing I know, I'll be sitting my HSC! Eek!

Anyway, I spent the first day of March at Ed Sheeran's Sydney concert with a few of my friends. It was unbelieveable! I cannot even describe how phenomenal he is live! Absolute perfection! It was super fun and exciting and I bought a fun tshirt which is cool.

What I wore

Jumper: Lipsy London @ Miss Shop
Skirt: Cotton On
Boots: Joey boots from Rubi Shoes
Bag: Valleygirl
'Phoebe' name necklace: present from my best friend
Ring: Lovisa
Bracelets: usual ones I wear
Nail Polish: 'Bright Rose' from Oroton

Things I am currently loving

Hello my angels!

This week, I thought I'd do a post telling you all the things I am currently loving!

Victoria's Secret Pink iPhone cases

These cases are so adorable! Victoria's Secret should have made them ages ago! The patterns are super cute, they are constantly popping up on my Facebook news feed and when my sister went to the US in January, she was kind enough to get me one. It is perfect as I have a white iPhone. It combines three of my favourite things; leopard print, pink and Victoria's Secret.

Ralph Lauren cable knit sweater

How gorgeous is this sweater?! I just had to have it! I have a very similar one that is vintage Lacoste, but in my eyes, you can never have enough knitted jumpers. Especially in classic colours like white or black. This one is super soft and looks great with black wedge boots, dark skinny jeans and a big scarf. I am so excited that it is almost autumn here in Australia and I can wear it more often.

Philosophy's Senorita Margarita body wash

This body wash smells like heaven! I am literally in love with the scent and it is definitely my new favourite philosophy product. It smells just like a margarita, but better. It smells so fresh and clean and it reminds me of summer. It is perfect for everyday use and its natural, clean scent won't clash with your perfume. Plus the colour is divine.

The Carrie Diaries (Tuesdays at 8:30pm on Fox8)

This show is fabulous. I am currently obsessed with it. The Carrie Diaries follows the life of a pre-Sex and the City Carrie Bradshaw, aged 16 and living in Connecticut with her dad and sister. All of the four episodes I have watched have kept me glued to the couch, not wanting to miss a second. I read the book by Candace Bushnell and the show is similar in some parts and completely different in others. For example, Carrie doesn't go to New York until the end of the book, but her she goes every week as part of an internship. Nevertheless the show is super entertaining and I love the fashion. AnnaSophia Robb also plays Carrie extremely well. And as a long time AnnaSophia fan, I think this is one of the 19 year old Colorado native's best roles yet. Make sure to check it out if you haven't already!

Tiffany heart studs

These earrings were bought as an impulse buy at Bondi Junction just after christmas and I think they are my best impulse buy ever! I have been wearing them pretty much non-stop since being able to change my earrings a month or so ago. They are made of sterling silver and the backing is detailed to look like a flower. Plus the tiny, neat inscription is so charming. They are classic earrings and definitely simple enough that they go with anything!

Juicy Couture hematite drop earrings

These earrings are beautiful. I found them on the TeenVogue website and new that I just had to have them. The silvery hematite colour is so chic, I just love it. The setting is something really special, I have never seen anything quite like it. The setting is designed to be a crown, with the claws that hold the stone in place being the points of the crown. I have only tried these earrings on a couple of hundred times as I haven't had any upcoming occasions that require such elegant earrings.

What are some of the things you guys are currently loving? Post your comments below, I love hearing from my beautiful readers!

My favourite eye make up products

 Hi everyone!

As a fashion blogger, I tend to only post my outfits. However, since I am currently in school, I spend most of my time in my school uniform and don't wear as many non-school outfits. Another thing I am passionate about besides fashion is beauty. I will start to regularly feature make up and beauty posts on my blog.

As a girl with blonde eyelashes, there is nothing I love more than dark eye makeup! Over the years I have tried and tested a whole range of products from so many different brands but as of 2010 I finally found the perfect eyeliners.

For everyday wear, i prefer to use pencil liner. Ones I have used in the past wear painful to apply and often bled down to my cheeks which was annoying. Luckily, since then I have found the perfect everyday eye liner. It's a crayon, rather than pencil which makes it so much easier to apply and it is so waterproof that when I come out of the surf or a swimming pool, it still looks perfect, given that i don't rub my eyes. I am of course referring to the one and only Chanel's amazing "Stylo yeux waterproof" long-lasting eyeliner in shade 10 ébène. The colour is a dark grey, so it is a softer, less intense shade that black. It also comes with a handy built-in sharpener at the end; you just pull of the base.

When it comes to liquid liners, I use "Écriture de Chanel" automatic liquid liner by Chanel in shade 10 noir. It applies like a normal liner which makes it quick and easy, especially if you're in a hurry.

Mascara has been one of my everyday essentials since I was about 12 and it still is today. Even on the days where I go out with no make up on, I always wear mascara. Here are a few of my favourites.

For everyday use, I use LashBlast Length Water Resistant mascara in colour Very Black 825 from Covergirl. This mascara is a perfect mascara for length. My lashes are visibly longer and more defined when I use this mascara, making it perfect for everyday use. It is very simple and makes lashes look natural.

For volume, I use Maybelline's Volum' Express The Flasies Waterproof mascara in Blackest Black. It makes my lashes look significantly fuller and more beautiful, as if I am wearing false lashes. This mascara is perfect for night time occasions but I also wear it during the day. The only trouble is that it is so waterproof, I often have trouble trying to remove it with make up remover.

For a waterproof mascara I bring on beach vacations, I use the Mesmer-Eyes Mascara in Black Waterproof from Napoleon Perdis. The brush is kind of strange (you use the thicker comb first and then the finer one) and if you don't wipe it on the rim of the bottle before you apply it, it can come out clumpy on your eyelashes. This mascara is perfect for just thinly coating your lashes, giving them a natural yet beautiful and defined appearance. I used this mascara on my most recent beach holiday, and it is the only mascara I wear when I go to the beach.

That is all for my first ever beauty post.

I'm always happy to hear your feedback, so post any questions or comments below!

Sally Hansen Salon Effects nail polish strips

Hello lovelies!

I have had these Sally Hansen nail polish stickers in one of my drawers for ages and I have been dying to try them out! My mum bought me three when she was over in Dallas when they first came out a few years ago, a pink one, a blue glitter and a butterfly print. Since then, I have been over to the US and I bought a pink glitter one and a leopard print one.

In the packet, you get a variety of different sized strips and you just have to pick and choose which ones fit your nails best. They also come with an instruction sheet and the files you need so it is perfect. The instructions are super easy to follow which makes for a quick application process.

I finally tried them out for the first time and I was so impressed! Since it was my first time trying them, I have a couple of bubbles in a couple of my nails. They look super neat too, which is a bonus if you are messy at painting your own nails.

I was a bit sceptical about how long they would last (the box says up to 10 days) but I have been to the beach and washed my hair with them on and they are still perfect.

The only issue with this particular colour is that it doesn't photograph very well. As you can see in the pictures that follow, the colour is different in every picture. The colour is a pale pink but it's kind of fluoro. The above image is the best image and the colour is almost exact.

Clockwise from top left: Fly With Me, Kitty Kitty, Cry Baby, Bling It On, Blue Ice.
I would highly recommend these to anyone! They are the perfect solution for girls who have very little patience or time to paint their nails as there is zero dry time involved with these nail polish stickers.

Have any of you guys tried these yet?

Love,
Phoebe xx
